Key Features of Air Freight
- Speed: Air Freight is the fastest shipping method, ensuring that goods are delivered to their destination in a very short period, especially for items requiring urgent delivery or products with an expiration date.
- Security: Air transportation is held to the highest security standards, guaranteeing that goods are safely delivered to the recipient.
- Ideal for High-Value Goods: Air Freight is particularly suitable for valuable products or items that need special care, such as vaccines, fresh fruits, or machine parts.
Types of Air Freight Shipping
- PORT TO PORT: From one airport to another.
- Ex Factory to PORT: Goods are collected from the sender’s factory and shipped to the destination airport. The buyer clears the goods themselves upon arrival.

Additional Information
For air freight, the airline will determine the shipping cost based on either the actual weight or the volumetric weight, depending on which is greater. The airline will select the higher value for billing purposes.
How to Calculate Volumetric Weight
Width x Length x Height (cm) ÷ 6,000 = Volumetric Weight (kg)
For example, if the product’s box dimensions are 50x60x75 cm and the actual weight of the box is 20 kg: Box dimensions: 50 x 60 x 75 = 225,000 ÷ 6,000 = 37.5 kg (volumetric weight). When comparing the actual weight of 20 kg and the volumetric weight of 37.5 kg, the airline will charge based on the greater value, which is 37.5 kg.
